About this campaign

This sweet soul, named Bumblebee, was just hours away from being euthanized at the local animal care and control. He was on the urgent rescue list, facing an uncertain future. His only crime? Being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Bumblebee has clearly suffered. He appears to have been kicked in the face, leaving him with a broken tooth and severe swelling around his nose. His pain is palpable, and his future was looking grim—until a miracle happened.

Thankfully, Adopt a Cat Foundation stepped in just in time to save him, but Bumblebee’s journey is far from over. He needs immediate medical attention, including a dental procedure and several extractions to ease his pain and help him heal. Without these vital treatments, his suffering will only continue.

Bumblebee is a fighter. Despite everything he’s been through, he’s still trusting, still hopeful, and still deserving of a chance at happiness. But to make that happen, he needs your help. Please donate today to help Bumblebee heal.

Update 2/1/2025:
Bumblebee healed well from his dental surgery, but he's now experiencing some eye issues. One of his pupils is larger than the other, so Adopt a Cat took him to an ophthalmologist who found that he has glaucoma in that eye, along with increased intraocular pressure. The ophthalmologist is going to run some blood work to check for any potential infectious agents affecting his eye. In the meantime, Bumblebee is being treated with eye drops.

Update 2/15/25:
Bumblebee goes back to the ophthalmologist this week to recheck his eye. We are hopeful that he has made some improvement!

Update 2/20/25:
Bumblebee had his recheck and his eye pressures dropped from the high 50s down to 16, which is great news. He will need eye drops the rest of his life to maintain his condition.
