About this campaign

Buster is a foster failure that was rescued from imminent death. He escaped his abusive owner and was found loaded with ticks, malnourished and appeared to be foaming at the mouth. He was considered a public safety hazard. Luckily the police called a local rescue agency who took him in.
Since then, Buster has been everywhere with me. He is literally sticks to me like glue and I love it.

We have been a major part of each others lives since the moment i began fostering him. I have always treated him like a son and he has reciprocated in so many ways.
The lymphoma diagnosis has been devastating and couldn't have come at a worse time for me financially, physically, and emotionally. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support. Buster truly is special.

The first thing people say when they meet Buster is how handsome he is. But, then they immediately realize he is the sweetest, most caring and intelligent dog they have ever met. All he wants in this world is your attention and to make you happy; plus the occasional beef marrow bone.
Buster has the most complex facial expressions & mannerisms, always waves his paw at you to be petting & lovies.

On June 23, 2022, Buster was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma (LSA), which is a cancer of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. All of his major Lymph Nodes were enlarged. He is receiving the CHOP treatment: Multi-agent chemotherapy protocol, given for 6 months). CHOP offers the strongest combination of effects against the LSA.

Due to unemployment and covid, I no longer have any savings. This is a major financial burden estimated between $10-12 thousand that was unforeseen. I relocated to Upstate, NY and took an entry level job that does not pay well and does not afford extra monthly expenses.
