Buster had a rough life before he was rescued from abuse and neglect . Even though he was in a great foster home, Buster was still skittish around strangers when I adopted him. But, with those he knows, he is the most loving and sweet-spirited dog I have had seen. And, he is an EXCELLENT big brother to Salvatore, a Staffordshire Terrier.

I have to buy an extra large dog bed for them, because they always want to sleep side-by-side! Buster is also the best dance partner! He loves Afro Beats and Pop (hates Opera) and whenever he hears it, he wants to dance!

Buster is 100% a human! When you tell his you want a hug, he will wrap his arms around your neck and press his face against your cheek. And he will stay there FOREVER! I cannot imagine getting through this next year of medical treatments without my snuggle buddy and dance partner, Buster! And his brother Sal won't even eat when Buster is away. We need him in our family!

Buster needs a thoracotomy to remove the mass on his lung causing him to cough and have difficulty breathing. The mass has grown 50% in 3 weeks, so surgery is the only option to save his life.

The surgery will be performed at Virginia Veterinary Specialists in June and the total cost is estimated to be between $6374.47 and $7558.77.

At the end of 2021, I was forced to sell my business, and now I am only able to work on a very limited part-time schedule as I receive 12 months of medical treatments. Without help, I will be unable to get Buster the surgery he needs to save his life!
