I have never lived without a dog, and I never want to. When moving out of my parents house after high school I knew I needed a dog to take with me. I found Buster through a rescue called country roads animal rescue. They found him alone living under a trailer home. I remember the first day I met him he was so timid and scared. Since living with me he has become so brave and he has learned so much!

Buster is the biggest sweetheart you’ll ever meet. He loves morning cuddles and kisses! His favorite way to start the day is with a pup cup. We have worked on his timidity and now he loves meeting new people. Most of all he LOVES puppies! He is so gentle and kind to puppies and children. He is the most active dog I’ve ever met. His favorite activity is running and barking at squirrels all day long

Buster is quite the talker. He does more groaning than barking. He is a grade A fit thrower if he doesn’t get that extra treat or pets. He stomps his feet, huffs and puffs, and will stare into your souls while doing so! Just like a toddler! One thing that everyone adores about him is how gentle he is. I’ve never met a dog like him. He takes treats from you like he’s picking up an injured butterfly

Buster started limping after waking up a few months back. Took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with arthritis. Unfortunately, it got a lot worse and now he limps all the time. Some days he won’t even put any weight on his back leg. We got an X-ray and the vet said he tore his ccl/acl. The vet said we need TPLO surgery. This requires a veterinary orthopedic specialist surgeon.

I’m currently in nursing school working to get my BSN. A couple years back I tore my ACL and wasn’t able to work for a while. Since then, I’ve been struggling. Nursing school is full time, and I just can’t afford the help Buster needs. Which is the worst feeling in the world
