Buttercup is a 3-year-old Shorthair Cat in Reeds Spring , MO, who needs $500 for Core 2 Dental Treatment.

Buttercup came into our lives when he was about four months old. He showed up on our porch one day sick with an upper respiratory infection and he just meowed at the door until I opened it. Buttercup is almost four but he is known for getting sick s lot. Mainly with ear infections. He has some dental issues right now, and has already lost some teeth. He needs surgery to get some extracted.

He loves to play. He doesn't like to be held long, but loves attention. If he isn't getting it he will meow until he does. He likes to do what we call cute kitty. He rolls on his back looking cute and he will roll over like a worm on the floor. It's quite funny sometimes. He does try to play with our older cat Boots sometimes too.

He has a toy squirrel he loves to play with or these birds on a string. He loves to lay in Christmas garland. He will play in it too or go to sleep in it. Sometimes our cat Boots aggravates him by messing with his garland. He has a pop up tent he loves as well, and he loves laying behind the couch in the sun.

He has some tartar buildup up, but he has a few teeth that are bad and need to be removed. His gums are actually red looking in some spots. I'm hoping this is a one time thing with him. I know that you usually don't see teeth this bad in cats this young.

I live off of social security so money is tight as it is, but there is no way I could afford a 500 dollar procedure. So this would mean the world to me to get this help.
