My baby Butters came into my life when we adopted him from a co-worker's grandmother, who raised him his first two months of his life on a farm. He has been a part of my life for the past two years now, being by my side through a divorce, losing and gaining new roommates, and all of the hardships that I endure emotionally, and through my personal life.

Butters is most certainly the life of my house! Anytime that anybody is performing basic chores around the house, Butters is there supervising! Although he's not that responsive to being petted, he loves to be picked up and cradled! No resistance from him at all, no matter who you are, his desire for affection knows no bounds! And he is always on the move, "parkouring" off of the walls!

Butters' surgery was very expensive, but i wasn't going to end his fight, as he hasn't. Butters has been there from my divorce, and through COVID. It would mean the world to me to get support to continue his fight through recovery, he's an inspiration, even for me.

Butters has no negative medical history. So it caught us quite off guard when his behavior became extremely lethargic, and his appetite became practically non-existent in one day. We took him to Willis Animal Hospital, that of which they recommended Texas A&M for an emergency MRI, where we learned that he required immediate cranial surgery, and a hydrocephalic shunt implanted into his skull.

His docile and sweet behavior makes him stand out from the crowd! He absolutely loves playing with our two additional cats, one being his younger brother, third generation. You know, most cats will be hostile towards their siblings, but they bonded on day one and are practically inseparable! Our other cat, the eldest, even enjoys his company unconditionally, and its because of his playfulness!
