Butters is a 7-year-old Chihuahua in Julesburg , CO, who needs $1,400 for Limb Amputation.

Butters isn’t just a dog, he’s a family member and has been so for 7 years now. He’s my boys best friend and my loyal companion.
I still remember the day we first saw him, we new at very moment this had to be our dog!
4 weeks later we were bringing him home, and he hasn’t left our side since. He’s truly all of our best friend.

He’s a playful good boy, who loves zoomies with grandma, and almost always has a smile on his face!
He enjoyed his treats for doing good and isn’t afraid to remind you when you forget!
He sleeps with my littlest son religiously every night, and guards our house with all his might!
He really is the best “little man”.

Life hasn’t been the easiest this past year, we lost my brother. Through it all Butters did his very best to console us when we needed, and loved us every second he could.
I can’t imagine our lives without this precious dog, but life comes with lots of unexpected events.
I’m just doing my best to repay that debt of unconditional love to Butters as well.

Butters had an accident 5 days ago, and broke his paw in four different places.
He is now facing amputation of the paw. Orthopedic surgery would be extremely extensive, on account of his tiny bones, and is extremely costly.
Our next best, and safest option is amputation up to his shoulder. It’s a scary reality to face, but I have faith that this too, will all be okay.

I’m a single mom, in a situation I never expected, and in crisis.
Asking for help isn’t always the easiest thing to do, but I will do what I can to save our dog. My family is in great need of help from anyone able and willing!
