Butterscotch is an 8-year-old English Bulldog in San Jose , CA, who needs $1,750 for surgery to treat chronic ear infections.

We adopted Butterscotch from SoCal Bulldog rescue after she was turned in when she could no longer be used for breeding anymore. Butterscotch spent her whole life a a breading female bulldog and was not taken care of. We adore our sweet Butterscotch we love her more then life herself but as time went on we noticed chronic painful ear infections she continued to developed. Our vet Dr. Reed let us know that her ear infections were due to lack of being taken care of and very much do hurt her on a daily basis. . We have had Butterscotch for almost 1 year and in that time we have had three deep ear cleaning for her ears to help prevent her pain that have required us to put her under each time. The long term solution would be TECA surgery but the cost of it is hefty. We want nothing more then to let her be pain free for her gold years as she is now a senior bulldog. We will do whatever it takes to make her feel comfortable as she is our world.
