About this campaign
Buttons has been our family dog since 2009. Recently she moved into me and my boyfriends apartment because my dad can no longer look after her. I am looking for a new job right now because the hours at my current job have been cut and I am barely able to make rent. She has been in a lot of pain and I just want her to be her normal self again.
Buttons loves to play hide and seek around the apartment. She loves walking the loop on the abandoned golf course down the street too. Her favorite toys are sheepie the squeaky sheep and any size ball she can fit in her mouth, baseballs, tennis balls, etc... She also loves to talk. If you say "Buttons, can you talk?" she will start howling.
My dad is no longer able to look after Buttons so unexpectedly she was placed in my care. With the high cost of living in San Diego and me only working part time due to COVID-19 I do no know how I am going to be able to come up with the funds to pay for her vet bills.
Buttons is currently at Mohnacky Animal Hospitals of Vista located at 971 Vale Terrace Dr Vista, CA 92084. They are administering an IV and other medications while doing blood samples to figure out exactly what is going on. Buttons is having really bad diarrhea and also throwing up blood. She is in a lot of pain :( :( :( :( We all just want her to be okay and get better.
In 2009, at age 14, I was involved in a serious car accident. Buttons was my recovery friend. She has been by my side every step of the way and snuggled with me through all thirteen post accident surgeries. She has been such a light in not only my life but my whole family's lives too.
