Cú Bear is a 11 month old Mix-Breed in Albuquerque, NM, who needs $2,000 for Intestinal Resection and Anastamosis.

We adopted our puppy from PACA this past February. We have been together since then. He is our only pet. We gave him the name Cú which means hound in Irish and added Bear since he looks so much like a bear. He is a wonderful loving puppy.

This is an emergency. Last Saturday he ate plastic and floss and got sick. We rushed him to the vet emergency, and they operated on him. He remained in the hospital for several more days. We have now brought him home but it depleted our finances.

Our pet is so loving and friendly. He enjoys playing catch and especially enjoys his treats. We also enjoy training him which he seems to love too. He especially loves long walks with my husband. He also close with all of our friends and family.

I lost my job last August due to federal budget cuts and my husband is on social security, so this is a catastrophic family expense we need help with.
