D&A Animal Rescue takes pride in opening their doors to pit bulls and large black dogs—two groups that are often overlooked for adoption and receive little to no donations. These animals face heartbreaking odds, and right now, one of them is in desperate need of your help. This sweet pit bull was found clinging to life, barely able to move and severely dehydrated.

His condition is critical, and D&A rushed him to the vet to stabilize him. While he’s now safe, his journey to recovery is just beginning. He has an old injury to his front leg that will likely require surgery, along with several untreated wounds that are being managed with medications. This pup, who has no name yet, has already suffered so much. Yet, despite his pain, he’s gentle and full of heart.
