Cali Holroyd is a 8-year-old American Bully in Middletown , CT, who needs $2,000 for Pyometra Surgery.

Cali came from a family friend in Vermont, she was 7 1/2 weeks old. We've spent everyday with her for over 8years. We have an apartment my boyfriend and I live together along with our Cat Astro who Cali gets along with very well.

Cali sleeps in our bed, she likes to cuddle and give kisses. We take Cali to the town dog park daily and she has made many friends. We also take her hiking at a local park nearby where she loves to explore and also loves to swim. Cali communicates with her eyes and body language. When in need of water Cali pushes her bowl or brings it to us. Cali is basically a life size teddy bear.

Cali has a huge personality and wears her emotions on her face. She is obsessed with tennis balls or any other kind of ball. Cali rubs her back on the grass and does this roll around motion that makes us laugh and smile each time she does it. When she lays on her back Cali likes to smile and if I tell her to show me her smiles its almost like she understands and smiles harder.

Cali was determined to have Pyometra by Yalesville Vet in Wallingford CT and we were told she needed surgery. We brought her to another vet called Vet For Pet animal hospital in East Hartford and received the blood work that confirmed Cali does in fact have an Open Pyometra and needs emergency surgery.

Right now we only have one income coming in and it is a part time minimum wage paying job. We are also in the process of moving as well as learning of Cali needing surgery. It would mean the world to us for Cali to be healthy, right now she is just not herself.
