Cali is a 12-year-old Golden Retriever in Loch Sheldrake , NY, who needs $2,000 for Pyometra Spay.

When we got Cali we fostered her because her previous owner had lost his house and wasn’t able to take her with him. We have dog sat her in the past so we decided to take her in just until her owner could get on his feet. Well after so long of not hearing from him (2years) we decided to adopt her.

She has become one of the family we have 4 kids that adore her and a cat that we adopted 2 years ago that loves her like his own mother!!! (She’s very motherly lol) and her favorite baby (stuffed animal raccoon)

Cali is a wonderful dog that we love to death she is very much a talker loves to go to the dog park, walking trails, camping, boating and swimming in the summertime

Cali was diagnosed with closed pyometra with is when they get a really bad infection in the uterus and if waiting to long could burst and cause the dog to go septic and die. Well fortunately I took her to the vet (Catskill veterinary services) in time and was able to treat the infection.

But now I’m left 5113.38 between my savings and credit cards in debt I am so thankful that I have cali home and healthy again. But now I’m left trying to figure out how I’m going to be able to financially recover from this
