About this campaign
Callie was found in someone's yard suffering from heat exhaustion. She could barely walk under the scorching sun when she was luckily discovered just in time.
She was rushed to the vet for urgent care. They could not afford her care, so One by One Animal Advocates stepped in to help.
The vet suspects she has a disc problem, and an x-ray confirmed it - she has a collapsed area between L2 and L3, and other vertebrae are starting to fuse, leaving her with limited mobility in one of her back legs. She has a large polyp in her right ear, which makes her very hard of hearing, and cataracts in both eyes, making her visually impaired.
Callie also has a severe grade 4-5 heart murmur and an enlarged heart. While she needs a dental badly and her toenails are long, those are minor compared to everything else she's dealing with.

It's suspected she was abandoned because of her medical issues.
Callie has received all the basic treatments she needs, including medication to alleviate her spine and walking issues. That is just the start. The vet is prioritizing the next steps toward her recovery. But the rescue needs your help to cover the cost of her medical care.
Your generous donation can make a huge difference in Callie's life.
