About this campaign

Calloway (Callie) came into our lives when we found a friend of ours had a dog who was expecting. We hadn’t had a dog in several years and thought it was finally time. She is the family dog, although closest to my mom. My brother and I bought her for our mom for Mother’s Day in 2010, and they’ve been inseparable from day one.

When my brother and I got Callie for my mom, the one stipulation was that we all had to agree on a name, which proved difficult. We finally came to Calloway, nickname Callie, the day before we brought her home all those years ago.

Callie is my mom’s best friend, her confidant, her partner in crime. We all adore Callie, but she is the absolute light of my mom’s life. She was there for my mom through her “empty nest” period. Of all the dogs we had growing up, Calloway has been the shining star. She’s the most well-behaved dog I’ve ever met, she loves absolutely everyone, and is so gentle. Her days are spent chasing her tennis balls, squeaking her toys to get attention, running around the backyard, and playing with sticks (her favorite). She would spend all day outside, exploring the backyard, if she could. And she’s always up for going “bye-bye.”
