Calmer is our 6-year-old pitbull and has been part of our family since she was just 5 months old. She was a gift from our brother, and she’s brought us nothing but smiles, love, laughter, and joy.

Recently, Calmer was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor, a form of cancer that requires urgent surgery to remove. The vet at Lifeline clinic has told us that time is of the essence. With surgery, her prognosis is good—but without it, it could spread and her condition could rapidly worsen.

Calmer loves not only her family, but she loves everyone that she meets and never meets a stranger wherever she goes. She also loves to go to the daycare and to parks where she gets to play with other dogs.

The cost of the surgery is $787 which is more than we can manage on our own. That’s why we’re turning to you—our community—for help.
