Calvin is a 16 Year Old Norwegian Forest Cat in Bonney Lake, WA, Who Needs $1,500 for Tooth Extraction.

I got Calvin & his identical twin brother Hobbs when they were 10 weeks old back in ‘09. Hobbs went missing when they were 4 years old. I can only hope that he’s still living a great life as a senior cat with a new family. Calvin has been with me for his entire life! The day I got him I ended up finding out. I was pregnant later that day! Calvin was also with my dad when he passed away 😞

Calvin needs a tooth extracted. Last night I brought him to an emergency vet because the side of his face was swollen and his eye had discharge. The tooth abscess has infected his left eye.The emergency vet gave him antibiotics and pain medicine, but they do not do dental work there and I need to take him to another vet for that.

Calvin is older than my son! Calvin is 16 and my son is 15. They are very close! My mom also has a special bond with Calvin as we used to live with her. Calvin has always been a big cat, he loves to lounge! He’ll hang out with his head on your lap purring as long as you will let him.

I’m currently only working part time and my husband just started a new job. Christmas is close and this emergency vet cost were completely unexpected. Calvin has been a very healthy cat all his life. He’s slowing down now that he’s older, but I know he has a lot of life left
