When I was 18 & depressed I headed off to a local shelter. When I laid eyes on Cam I knew she was 4 me. On her 1st day home I had left off to work & she wouldn’t budge to eat. My family thought she was dying & wanted to return her. I said NOPE. When I got home I pushed the bowl towards her & she began to eat. She was waiting 4 me the whole time. That moment on I realized she viewed me as her mom

Camila loves sleeping close to me most nights and like a sassy independent tortie she also likes to sleep on her cat tower. She’s picky with who she gives her time to. If it’s not me she’ll let them pet her for a second then she walks away.

Camila is just her own being. When she was a kitten she’d climb onto me whenever I had “human” food to see what we’re eating, yes, we. I use to give her a bit (made sure it was safe) then she’d leave off all happy. Now she doesn’t care about human food which is odd to turn from but that’s what makes her, her. She’s also smart. I would scare her around corners so she now does it back & it’s funny

Cam is experiencing daily morning vomits and black stool <-which I noticed yesterday. There’s an animal hospital in my town that I’ve taken her to back in March so I can’t remember her vet name.

I lost my job in July & just got hired delivering packages this week but I’m in debt of one month of bills & tuition payments. I’m even thinking if this takes a turn for the worst I’d have to sell my car bc cam is my baby.
