Candy is a 9 year old Mix-Breed in Newberry, FL, who needs $2,000 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO).

I got a Candy at a low income neighborhood in Medellin, Colombia. She is 9 years old and has been there for me in the toughest times. I am a College student and can't afford the surgery by myself and can't see her in pain anymore so I looking for help in any way I can

She is not able to walk anymore due to torn cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) that requires Tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy (TPLO) or else she will break her other CCL and not be able to walk at all within 1 year. The hospital that would do the surgery would be Community Care Veterinary Specialists. Unfortunately surgery is the only way to save her from a life of chronic pain.

She is my life partner and loves going on nature walks and jumping around the house when someone comes visit. She likes to watch movies with me and knock on my door in the middle of the night when she is scared. Car rides are her favorite and she enjoys long trips to explore new cities.

I am a Pre-med student and this is my last year ( busy) so is being hard to save money and this was an unexpected huge amount. I pay for insurance at a primary hospital for her but they don't cover anything outside their hospital so I am on my own to pay for the surgery.
