Cantaloupe is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Fort Worth, TX, who needs $2,000 for Floating Patella Correction.

Sweet Cantaloupe has been through more than any cat should. After being attacked twice by a dog in her own home, she was left with serious injuries—including a floating patella in her back leg that makes it painful and difficult for her to walk.

Now, she’s getting a second chance at a pain-free life. On June 2nd, Cantaloupe is scheduled for surgery to repair her leg so she can finally walk—and play—like a normal, happy cat. She has a floating patella on her rear leg, and the amazing surgeon at Atlas Vet is confident this surgery will greatly improve her quality of life.

Despite everything, Cantaloupe remains full of love and resilience. She is playful and loving, with the sweetest chirps when she's happy. Your support means the world to her—and to all of us at Spicy Whiskers Cat Rescue.

This is her second surgery after being gravely injured. We need to raise $2,000 to help cover the cost of this crucial surgery. As a small cat rescue, our funds for medical cases are extremely limited, and every dollar you give goes directly toward her care and recovery.

Cantaloupe is well on the road to recovery thanks to all of you who continually support her road to recovery. She has now survived two major reconstruction surgeries to her front and back legs.

Thanks to everyone who showed Cantaloupe love and support on her healing journey! She was able to have her second surgery and it went really well. After some intense physical therapy and time to recover, a wonderful adopter flew in from the East Coast to adopt her!
