Capone is a 9-year-old Boxer/Chow in Arlington , WA, who needs $1,500 for ACL Surgery.

Capone came in to my life when I wasn't even looking. I got this strange feeling after I drove a few miles past a shelter that I needed to turn around and it was the BEST decision I've ever made. For the past 9 years he has been the most stable thing in my life, he is my emotional support dog and I go nowhere without him! We live alone with the other pets, I have no kids or partner is just us.

(Bunnies, cat, dog) live together. He loves all his siblings and takes care of them like the big brother he is! He knows and loves all the neighbors and they love him, especially my 5 year old neighbor girl! His grandparents also cherish him just as much!

He is my emotional support dog and brings me SO much joy and happiness I can not even explain, his personality is innocent and precious he will steal your heart and run with it! He makes me laugh everyday! He keeps me grounded. Thinking of my life without him one day makes me sick to my stomach, and it's not his tone yet, and losing his mobility already for a month has been miserable for us both.

He just had his yearly check up and was given a clean and perfect bill of health, a month later he was just running and a minute later only using 3 legs? It was so strange and came out of nowhere, it's his ACL and it's a $4,000 surgery... His vet is All Creatures Vet in Arlington, WA.

I lost my job during covid and have been living on my savings, trying to get caught back up since I'm working now again and then this. I live alone and I'm single, all financial responsibilities in my life fall on me. Thinking of my active boy with no mobility kills me :(
