About this campaign
I adopted Capone from our local shelter. He was a malnourished puppy along with his litter mates. He lives with my family including his boxer big brother and his feline siblings. He has been a ball of energy since we brought him home from the shelter. We love him very much and want him to come home from the ICU at the emergency vet hospital.
Capone enjoys playing in water and chasing after his feline siblings. He had recently taken an interesting in playing fetch with a ball and was starting to get pretty good at it. He loves having his ears rubbed and rough housing with his big brother Kane. When he's ready for relaxing time he likes to sleep close to our feet so he knows we are there.
Capone is a fearless boy. He takes to guff from anyone including me. When he gets in trouble he likes to talk back. He has the attitude of a human teen when he's told what to do. If he wants your attention he lets it be known with a bark or a low grumble. He has the long floppy ears that give him the goofy clown look.
On Friday night may 26 2023 Capone became sick to his stomach and wouldn't eat or drink. We thought he just had a stomach ache and tried to wait it out. He was taken to the vet clinic on Sunday because he still wasn't eating or drinking. There he tested positive for parvo virus. We had a quote that sounded doable but it increased fast.
We didn't have much money saved we have paid $3000 of his over $5000 bill and have tapped out all resources, savings, care credit, credit cards we have no more extra funds.
