About this campaign

Captain came into my life when I was 16 years old. My dad came home one day with two beautiful black cats who were brothers. My cousins cat had given birth and she was giving away the kittens. My dad brought two home, Captain and Precious. Unfortunately, our Precious passed away, but thankfully Captain has had a long life with us. He is now 18 years old and is happily living at home.

Unfortunately, Captain has been diagnosed with transitional cell carcinoma. He requires surgery to remove the tumor in his bladder. He will be treated at Sage Veterinary Centers. At this time we are managing his condition with pain medications to keep him comfortable until we can find a way to pay for the surgery.

Captain is the sweetest boy. He is very loving and is always cuddling up to everyone. He is a wonderful big brother to our other 3 cats. He is very curious and always exploring the house. His favorite spot is the living room window where he can see people and cars passing by. He always watches over us and likes to sleep on my pillow. Captain is so calm and easy going, he loves everyone.

This is a huge unexpected medical expense and unfortunately we do not have the funds to pay for his surgery. We would appreciate your help so very much. It’s always difficult asking for help, but we truly do need it. I thank you for reading and for any help you can give.
