Carly is a 5-month-old Toy Poodle in Fort Worth, TX, who needs $2,000 for Luxating Patella Surgery.

I bought her from a seller, she was 8 weeks old. I first noticed her walking differently after she was laying down. It seemed as her knees would lock up. But once she started going she was fine running, walking, jumping, and playing with my other dogs. She is 7 months old now and back in July is when she completely stopped extending her back legs. She know keeps her back legs in a sitting positio

She loves playing tug a war with the other dogs and sleeping with someone. She is so full of energy and so loving and playful. She will give love to anyone who is will to take it.

Her favorite toy is a little lamb and will not let her back legs affect her from taking the toy back from her doggie siblings. She loves when her doggie sitter Chloe will play chase with her.

So unfortunately Carley will be needing surgery of both back legs due to severe lauxting patella. It will be broken into 2 surgeries starting with the right back leg and then the left. She was originally seen at her Vet VCA Lakeside Animal Hospital, and also seen by to specialist that say the same thing. Dallas Veterinarian Surgical Center and then by Fort Worth Veterinary Surgical.

I want to be able to get the surgery for Carley and give her the most normal life she can have. She is still very young and if she doesn’t get the surgery she will have to get both back legs amputated. Being a single mother of 4 with no help from the fathers.
