Carmello is a 6 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Springfield , MO, who needs $2,000 for Therapy and Frequency Therapy.

This is Carmello, I adopted him from a local humane society where he had recently been fixed and wasn’t properly being taken care of (his stitches from being fixed were busting open and also had worms and an ear infection but wasn’t on medication), he now has many siblings and is super spoiled! He loves playing with his younger siblings! He loves running around the yard too!

Recently, Carmello was diagnosed with spondylosis and it’s severe to the point he is in a lot of pain and can no longer use his back legs. He is unable to control his bladder now as well. He was seen at the local emergency vet over the weekend where we found out about the condition and at that moment he was still able to walk. The next day, he lost the ability to use his legs or move really.

Carmello loves cuddling and being around people! He loves car rides and getting new toys and treats. He loved playing with his younger sisters (who are also pit mixes).

For Carmellos condition, my vet is wanting to do therapy for him 3 times a week, frequency therapy for the next 3 months, and also see a chiropractor. We are also possibly looking for a second opinion at MU in Columbia MO. They are estimating $10,500 total for his treatment.
