I adopted Carrot in January from a local pet adoption agency in Seattle, so we have not been together long, but in that short time, he has become my best friend. In the apartment, he lives alone, but he has a brother that lives down at my mom's house. His brother who is chunkier is named Pumpkin and Carrot got his name since he was a bit scrawny and lengthy (like a Carrot).

Carrot loves sleeping by the window, where he can wake up at a moment's notice to chatter at some crows. I live in a studio apartment with my partner and Carrot, so we are used to always being around each other. It feels like I am missing a very importnat piece of my life since he has been at the vet the past week. Carrot always enjoys watching cartoons and tv with us, he is like an iPAD kid.

Carrot is the nicest and friendliest cat. He is loving, playful, and sometimes a bit of a spaz. His favorite hobbies include sniffing the dishwasher, knocking pens of desks, and curling up in the sun for long naps. Hi, my name is Megan and I am fundraising for my orange friend Carrot the Cat. He currently is staying at Animal Medical Center and has been refusing to eat for the past couple of days. He, unfortunately, got into some grass that triggered a lot of vomiting and dehydration. He perked up for a bit, but unfortunately, he is now experiencing major gut issues that prevent him from being able to eat.

I recently graduated from college so I, unfortunately, do not have much in savings. Carrot means the world to me and I want to help him in any way that I can. He makes me so so happy and it has been so hard living without him by my side.
