Emaciated, neglected, and struggling to survive, Carson had clearly endured far more than any dog ever should. To make matters even more difficult, Carson is completely blind due to severe cataracts, forcing him to navigate the world in darkness.

Despite everything he has been through, Carson remains one of the sweetest, happiest dogs imaginable. Named after Mr. Carson from \_Downton Abbey\_, he greets everyone he meets with kindness, trust, and affection. He is incredibly cuddly, gentle, and smart, with a spirit that has never been broken. Even without his sight, he carefully finds his way around, seeks out affection, and approaches each day with a wagging tail and an inspiring determination to enjoy life.

Thankfully, Joyrides Rescue stepped in to save Carson’s life and provide him with the care he desperately needed. The good news is that Carson is an excellent candidate for cataract surgery, a procedure that could restore his vision and completely transform his quality of life. For the first time in years, he could see the faces of the people who have fought for him, explore the world with confidence, and experience the world that has been hidden from him for so long.
