About this campaign

Casanova was left on our front lawn. We don't know who left him on our lawn. Our neighbors walking through our neighborhood discovered him. The thought we were trying to get rid of a pet. I explained to them we didn't have any pets. We went outside to see what our neighbors were talking about. Surely some left this adorable dog in a pop-up kennel with 2 bags of food and a blanket over the kennel.

We fell in love with him. My neighbors had call animal control. The animal control took him to the humane society. We explained to animal control we wanted to adopt him. We went over to animal control an paid to adopt him.

Casanova has brought so much joy to my family. We are new pet owners. I didn't know it was possible to love and care for a pet as much as Casanova. He is so loving. He also helps my husband who is a cancer survivor and deals with pain constantly.

After adopting Casanova the humane society sent him to the vet for a check up and to get neutered, only Tobe told he need a $2000 hernia surgery. Now it makes sense as to why he was left in my yard!

This was definitely not expected and we can't afford this surgery. So the vet did a temporary less expensive procedure to help him. But he needs this surgery because without the surgery I don't know how long he will live. He also needs eye surgery
