About this campaign

Cash is a 8 year-old Australian Shepard mix who was left at a boarding facility while his previous owner moved to Costa Rica. He was left at the facility with his brother, Mr. Pibb, who could not be kenneled with Cash so they were boarded alone for the entirety of their stay with no plan on when they will ever return to a “home”.

Cash is toy LOVER and unfortunately while playing fetch with his grandma, he happened to tear his ACL. He’s currently resting and attempting to recover at home but with his high drive and love to adventures it’s nearly impossible to keep him calm enough to fully recover. The best possible plan for Cash would to undergo surgery so he can return to his beach days, mountain life, and endless toys.

Cash is truly one of a kind. He has a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He absolutely lives for adventure—whether it’s running on the beach, exploring new trails in the mountains, or just being outside in the fresh air, he’s happiest when he’s moving and discovering. At home, he turns into a snuggle bug begging for belly rubs and carries a toy no matter where he goes.

This ACL surgery is estimated to be about $6500. With my other dog just racking up $1500 in vet bills, I just am not in the position to be able to afford to pay this. Cash deserves to live the life he waited for, not only house rest relying on meds daily to be comfortable.
