About this campaign
Cash is a 8 year-old Australian Shepard mix who was left at a boarding facility while his previous owner moved to Costa Rica. He was left at the facility with his brother, Mr. Pibb, who could not be kenneled with Cash so they were boarded alone for the entirety of their stay with no plan on when they will ever return to a “home”.
Cash is toy fanatic and while playing fetch with his grandma, he happened to tear his ACL. After vet overview, results show that Cash has Medial Patellar Luxation in both legs. This has caused arthritis in his joints and could possibly result in surgery for both legs. The best plan for Cash would to be to undergo surgery so he can return to his beach days, mountain life, and endless toys.
Cash is truly one of a kind. He has a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He absolutely lives for adventure—whether it’s running on the beach, exploring new trails in the mountains, or just being outside in the fresh air, he’s happiest when he’s moving and discovering. At home, he turns into a snuggle bug begging for belly rubs and you will always find him carrying a furry friend.
This surgery is estimated to be about $3100. That’s only if he can be successful with operating on only the currently affected leg. In no way am I looking for help for the entire cost, but any portion would be a tremendous help in getting Cash to reclaim his best life.
