Cash is a 4-year-old Terrier Mix Dog in Sioux Falls, SD, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic surgery- ACL.

We always knew we wanted a puppy but needed to find the PERFECT one. Our daughter at the time was 3 years old and we wanted a dog who could grow old with her. We were watching our local Humane Society's website and finally, one day a litter of the cutest 8 week old puppies were on the site! We immediately went out to see them, my daughter picked one and that's how Cash joined our family.

Cash is a funny guy. He loves to curl up in a tight ball where ever he lays, he LOVES to have his butt scratched right by his tail. He gets super excited anytime he sees the back scratcher out- he throws himself to the ground to have his belly scratched. He knows right where his treats are and will stand there and beg for one every morning, and of course I give in. :)

Cash LOVES the snow, so thankfully we live where there is plenty of it. He gets SUPER excited when he gets to go in the car any time its time to eat he'll follow you to his bowl and spin around in circles on the way there. He will whine so loud for popcorn, its almost like he's trying to talk to us! He loves to stand and look out the window to welcome you home too. He's such a sweet fella.

Unfortunately the day before we left for vacation , Cash tore his ACL. He LOVES to run in the backyard...and he runs HARD. Well he finally did a number on himself that we can't bounce back from. We took him to our local vet All City Pet Care- West in Sioux Falls, and they confirmed everything and have him some meds so he could be comfortable while he was boarded when we were gone.

Cash has always seemed to live up to his name. Unfortunately it seems we frequent the vet's office with ongoing allergies and ear infections. But now we have this big visit we need to get scheduled for his ACL surgery and its simply out of our budget.
