About this campaign

Cassidy continues to show us what true strength looks like. Every single day, she returns to the vet for treatments which include wound cleaning, laser therapy, and careful redressing. It is a long, painful process that she handles with bravery.

We truly believe she understands she is finally being helped by all of us at Stray Dog Support.

Cassidy is the sweetest girl. Gentle. Trusting. The kind of soul who should have only ever known kindness. What happened to her should never have happened to any living being.

For those who know her story — we believe Cassidy was used for medical experimentation, then discarded outside the walls of a hospital in Alexandria, Egypt. This is not the first time we’ve been made aware of these situations so we are currently in the middle of an ongoing investigation where we can hopefully put a stop to this cruelty.

But right now, Cassidy’s fight is still very real and far from over.

Because of you, she has made it this far. Your support has made every treatment, every bandage change, every small step toward healing possible. We are so deeply grateful.

Her daily vet visits are not optional. They are critical to her survival and recovery. And the costs are quickly adding up. We are falling behind, and we cannot do this without you. If you are able, please consider helping Cassidy today.

Every contribution directly supports her care. It helps ease her pain. It keeps her treatments going. It gives her a real chance at healing, and at finally knowing the safe, loving life she has always deserved.
