Castiel is a 6 year old American Shorthair in Portland , OR, who needs $1,233 for Ultrasound, X-Ray, Blood Tests.

Castiel is my fiancé and I relationship kitty. We got him from someone giving away free kittens almost 7 years ago in the very beginning of our relationship and absolutely fell in love with not only each other but him too. He's our first kitty together and our baby, I couldn't picture my life without him in it.

We took him to Blue Pearl last month for an emergency because he was lethargic and had a high fever, with antibiotics he seemed like his happy and healthy self again but a couple days ago he started to act sick again. We took him into the Oregon Humane Society Hospital and did X-Rays and Tests and found that he has a fluid in his abdomen that could be infectious or cancerous.

Castiel is definitely quite the character! He loves anything that crinkles especially his Swedish Fish toy that has catnip. He loves to lay on his back and stretch out on the floor (we call it Ottering), He sits with us on the couch and watches T.V. and loves playing with the laser toy as well. He's such a sweetheart and deserves all of the loves and attention in the world.

We are on a very tight income, my fiancé is on SSI and I have a full time job that barely makes enough to pay the bills. We are paying off the Emergency vet which was close to $800 and are also having car trouble on top of everything going on with our kitty. We need help...
