About this campaign
Catman Jr. is one of four neighborhood kittens whose mother brought them to our backyard and never returned. Since then, my husband and I have provided food, fresh water, shelter, and veterinary care. We recently decided to make all four siblings indoor cats so they can stay together as a family.
Catman Jr. disappeared for a day and was later found barely able to walk after the rain. He was diagnosed with a broken left femur and referred to Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center for orthopedic repair. We have completed his required pre-operative lab work and were advised not to delay surgery because the bone could heal improperly.
Catman Jr. has been part of our daily lives since he was a kitten. He and his siblings always return home to eat, rest, and spend time together. After losing our beloved dog of 14 years on Mother's Day 2025, these four cats unexpectedly filled our home with love again. We can't imagine giving up on him.
The emergency visit and testing have already cost over $700, and the surgery is estimated at $6,000–$7,000. We were denied CareCredit and are seeking financial assistance to give Catman Jr. the chance to keep his leg and recover.
