Cecil is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $5,500 for Possible Foreign Body.

I got Cecil as a rescue eight years ago after finding him online. His name was Ruffles on the website and when I met him, he chose me by licking my nose. He never stopped licking my nose, and while he's a barkaholic (he's part Pomeranian, part King Cavalier Charles Spaniel), he is full of boundless love and energy. He's my best friend and I wouldn't trade him for the world.

On his birthday, I gave him a cute little cake that made his stomach upset. Originally, I thought the problem was the cake, but it turned out there was something that looked like bones stuck in his stomach and intestinal tract. I'm hoping beyond all hope that the water flush works and he passes them naturally, but if he doesn't, he will need surgery to remove them.

Cecil is my best friend. Everyone who lives with me adores him and despite the fact he barks a little too much, it hasn't dampened any bit of love we have for him. He likes to climb on my shoulders and lie across my back when he wants to be particularly close to me, and he loves to lick people's noses, especially my nose. I think my sinuses have never been cleaner. He's an absolute lovey dog.

This was an unexpected major expense and I don't have enough for it. Please, all I want is my boy to come home alive and well and I'll do whatever it takes to do that.
