Chacho is a 10-year-old Chihuahua in Tomball , TX, who needs $1,300 for a dental procedure .

Chacho came into my life in 2009, when he was born. He was a gift from a dear friend & fit in the palm of my hand. Chacho stays indoors & only goes outside when I walk him. He sleeps with me, stays with me and when I’m sitting, he’s in my lap. He’s an excellent guard dog. I’m disabled, 63, in a wheelchair & I need Chacho to help me. He’s my family & my best friend.

Chacho is an excellent guard dog however anybody that comes over and sits on the couch within 10 minutes Chacho is in their lap. And the minute you stand up from the couch he starts barking because he does not want the company to leave. He’s very intelligent and knows a lot of words that I say to him. He is everything to this house.

All of this started when the coronavirus came around. Chacho’s face swelled, (I attached a picture), my daughter recognized it and informed me, while she was crying. The office visit cost $75 and that took part of the light bill. I don’t know what to do a I’m still crying.

Dr. Velma at Thrive informed me that majority of Chacho‘s teeth are rotten and they will have to be pulled. Also, it would cost about $1400. I have not been able to afford Chacho‘s yearly shots. I called several clinics spoke with several individuals and this was the most inexpensive one that I found. I’m very very worried. When the doctor told me, I cried a cried. My fixed income is all I have.

Chacho knows at least 100 words. he knows what it means when I say “let’s go outside,”, “I’m coming”, “go around”, &’”who made this mess”. He follows me everywhere. When I go to the front room he follows and when I go to my bedroom he follows. He’s a very intelligent Chihuahua & I need him desperately.
