Chai was originally going to be named Chives but Chives are the total opposite of Chai, he is as sweet, comforting and makes us as happy as a nice cup of warm tea. He was found on a sidewalk and signs were put up but no one claimed him. We were secretly happy and that's been his story for the last few years.

He is my youngest daughter's best friend and it's her sibling because her sisters are much older. Everyone who meets Chai falls in love. When we found him it was love at first hold, he is so easy to love. My youngest sister is very attached to Chai boy as she has no one else to play with. "Chai boy" is dearly loved and was rescued from the street when was 1. He chose us and means the world to my family. He is the sweetest, loving boy. He nudges at us constantly for attention and love. He's 19 lbs and still desires to be carried around the house. He never misses family dinners nor talks around the dining table... We'd like to think it's because he wants to be with us 24/7.
