Chairman Meow is a 12 year old American Shorthair in Grand Forks, ND, who needs $6,000 for Colectomy.

Chairman Meow was rescued after being abandoned at 3 weeks old in a field. We thought she was gone, but she let out a meow and that saved her. We took her home and to the vet. She's been with us for nearly 13 years. She is a fighter.

Chairman has had issues with constipation. We have brought special food and done all the vet has required, but she now has megacolon. We were told by her vet it's not bad yet, but she needs surgery right away.

She's special to us because she's unlike any other cat we've seen. She knows one of her humans is deaf and she would tap her for attention. She loves to pick up sticks and run and play. She's not a lap cat, but loves giving her family kisses and cuddling near us.

We are on fixed income and lately things have been downhill and we struggle to keep afloat. Chairman Meow is our main source of happiness in this family. We put her above ourselves. Having her healthy again would be the greatest thing in the world.
