About this campaign
I got Champ when he was a puppy after losing my service dog to cancer. He lives with me and has had medical issues since he was small. I found out early that eventually he will need a total hip replacement. Right now he has injured is ACL and needs a surgery done in April that costs $3700 I currently have $1,000 saved for it and am in need of raising the rest of the funds before his surgery day.
Champ loves to be outside. He has some special needs at times but most of the time you can find him sun bathing outside or playing in the snow. He likes to eat it to be honest. He is silly and fun loving. He has a long life ahead of him and I want the best life possible for him. I know that requires me to ask for help at this time but know that it's important for him.
I am currently going through a divorce and am disabled on SSI. I am in school part time trying to better my living situation and it's just really a rough time for me. It would mean everything to me and Champ to get him back to feeling like a dog again.
Champ has a ACL issue that needs to be medically repaired with Surgery at the City of Lakes Veterinary Surgery center in Inver Grove Heights Minnesota on April 22nd. He is in pain and is currently on medication until he can get his surgery done. I am working to ensure that happens for him on the day that is scheduled for him.
My dog is my world. He follows me around everywhere I go. He watches his mommy to make sure that she is okay all of the time. I am lucky to sneak into the bathroom alone. He is glued to my hip and I love him so much. He loves to play ball and it also is something that never leaves his side. Ball is life to him.
