About this campaign

Champ was given to me by a friend to provide me companionship as I live out my remaining days. I have terminal cancer.

I am disabled and live on $960 per month SSI plus $290 per month from SNAP food benefits. I managed to scrape together the $190 to have Champ vaccinated last Wednesday, July 2. Now he is having extreme reactions to the vaccines and needs emergency care or he may die.

Champ needs immediate IV fluids or he will likely die. The emergency vet hospital wants $200 just to see him and likely another $200-$300 to treat him.

Champ is so special to me, and he is just a puppy. The person who gave him to me is going to take him back once I pass. But he can't afford these emergency services right now either. If I can get him through this I am going to get medical insurance for him, which is pretty reasonable and will cover future situations like this.

Please consider donating a little bit to help so I can get Champ treatment today to save his life. We only need about $500, and this platform pays the veterinarian directly.
