Champa's story is absolutely gut-wrenching. She is a 4-year-old donkey who was abused and abandoned on the streets of Pakistan. She had her eye badly damaged and was left neglected for so long that there is a large hole in her head.

When ACF Animal Rescue rescued her, she had parts of her bone exposed in the massive cavity on her face where her eye should be. This injury is sadly not the only one, as she had more cuts and bruises all over her body. She has been receiving extensive medical care since, and thankfully, is recovering. The rescue is so relieved about her hopeful prognosis.

Champa was extremely traumatized. She had been living alone in debilitating pain, unable to care or defend herself. Thankfully, she is now being given a steady supply of medical care, food, water and love. Champa will never face hardships again like she has.
