Chance is a 10 month old Shih Tzu in Fresno, CA, who needs $800 for Hip Alignment/Wound Treatment.

As my husband was landscaping a clients house I was sitting in his truck and instantly noticed the front yard across the street from our account had a bunch of puppies , I then noticed how 6 puppies started brutally attacking this one puppy(chance) I ran over and we retrieved him form the yard the owner didn’t care and he was covered in ticks we couldn’t find it in our hearts to leave him

He is now suffering from severe side effects from the excessive amount of ticks that were all over him. We are still treating them frequently, but he obtained substantial injuries from getting attacked. He must have been getting attacked for more than just that day that we found him because his hips are completely displaced. He whines every time he moves, and he has wounds and scabs all over him.

Chance of special to us because he has not had an easy clearly and other dogs have been very cruel to him his own siblings that came from the same letter, but he came into our house and he gave all of our dogs, love and kisses and he is gentle and kind and is fighting for his life I’m afraid that his health issues are going to shorten his lifespan and this poor guy deserves a fighting chance <3

We never intended on getting another animal, considering we already have four dogs. We take great care of our dogs, but we work very hard and come up very short quite often we cannot afford another dog, but we got attached to him as fast as he got attached to us.
