Chance is a 9 year old Bichon Frisé in New York, NY, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Hernia Surgery.

Chance is a 9 year old sweet baby boy who came into my life at a very dark time. I was suicidal and depressed looking for something more in life. Thats when I found Chance, he was only 1year old and was mistreated since birth. He was kept in a cage all throughout his puppy months and I was blessed with being able to rescue him. We saved each other and I thank him every day for coming into my life.

Chance has recently been diagnosed with a Perineal Hernia and i’ve been giving him stool softener and helping him poop on our walks. On Feb 19th, 2025 I brought him to the vet for his annual check up at Valley Cottage Animal Hospital and thats when his doctor told me that his condition has worsen. She said that now Chance is in need of a surgery because it can be fatal. I can’t lose my baby.

Chance is special because we found each other at very dark times in our lives. He is emotionally healing and will sit and lick away all of your tears. He is sweet and gives anyone a hug. He can tell when you’re sad and will be there with you until you feel better. He is very smart! Learned how to do so many tricks and is an awesome best friend. He’s gone with me on planes and traveled with me.

I’m asking for help because I’m a hard working girl who needs help saving my baby. I don’t have any savings to help him and I need help paying for his surgery. I beg for assistance in anyway. I would be forever indebted to any one who can help. Please help me.
