Chance is a 7-year-old Shepherd/retriever mix in Norwood, PA, who needs $2,000 for gi surgery .

Chance is 7. He came into our lives when I was a young single mom of 1. Found out 2 months after getting him he’d be welcoming my next baby with me . He has loved my children the second from the day she was born & has been a favorite or everyone he comes into contact with. He’s the sweetest most loving boy!!

Chance welcomes everyone at the steps in the morning as they walk down the stairs from bed with head rubs against you and kisses. He sits at your feet when your sitting somewhere if he can’t be right next to you. He greets every guest at the door with a loud bark and huge tail wagging and follows you until he gets some pets in.

I’m a single mother of 2. Financially and physically I don’t get any help with the kids which forces me to work 2 jobs just to be able to make ends meet living paycheck to paycheck.

Chance started vomiting on Sunday 10/25. With his normal vet being closed we took him to olde Marple animal hospital. He had some X-rays which possibly showed a foreign object. He needs repeat X-rays and also possibly surgery if there is a foreign object. Anything donated would be so greatly appreciated as chance is a huge part of our little family.

Chance makes everyone he comes into contact with smile. He’s so lovable to everyone he meets. When my youngest daughter was born he was her biggest protector. He would put his paw around her and he always seems to be able to pick anyone whose having a bad day up with his big smile when he rushes to you to be petted.
