Chance is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Omaha , NE, who needs $1,430 for Mass Removal Level 3 with Histopathology.

Mr. Chance & I met at the Town & Country Humane Society in July of 2019. He was the only one in the big dog wing not barking . He just stared into my soul with those sweet eyes & he had me. Over the next 5 years we were inseparable until about 6 months ago when due to circumstances completely outside of my control we lost our home granting temporary guardianship to my ex, who was then co-guardian.

He has a history of non cancerous face,eyelid & mouth tumors. 6 weeks ago he developed a rapid growing "vascular mass" on his rectal tissue just beneath his tail. When there's any friction against it it bleeds. ALOT. The doctor at Vetco has been doing this kind of a surgery for 35 years and has high hopes that it is non cancerous but it needs to taken care of post haste.

This sweet sweet boy loves everyone. He's only ever growled twice, to protect me. He brought an orphaned baby bunny in the house to save it, he wasn't going to harm it he just wanted it to live. He is the only reason that I lived through my darkest time. But he loves to ride in the car and he can't with his bottom bleeding so much all the time. He loves belly rubs & walks & snacks most of all!

My ex lost our home, threw me out and then abandoned our dog to be cared for by persons who have their own significant healthcare needs. I'm looking for work & a pet friendly apartment but I had absolutely no emergency savings. I can't pay for the $1500 surgery.
