About this campaign
When one of our Adopt A Cat Foundation volunteers arrived at her workplace, she never expected to meet Charity — a frail, gentle cat in desperate need of help. Charity had deep marks around her neck, proof that a collar had once been painfully tight… but when she was found, that collar was gone. No microchip. No one looking for her. Just a weary little cat trying to survive.
It was clear she needed care right away. Charity was rushed to our trusted vet, where she received fluids and a B12 injection to help with dehydration, antibiotics for a painful wound on her foot, and a full exam. During her stay, Charity even threw up mulch — and the vet confirmed it was indeed mulch. She had likely been eating it in desperation while trying to survive on her own.
Her mouth told the story of hardship — she has almost no teeth left, likely from years of neglect.
Despite everything she’s endured, Charity is incredibly sweet and gentle. She leans into affection and seems to know she’s finally safe. Her FIV/FELV test came back negative, and now she just needs continued care, good food, and love to regain her strength.
Your donation will help cover Charity’s ongoing medical treatment and recovery, giving her the comfort, safety, and love she’s been missing.
She’s been through enough pain — let’s show Charity that kindness still exists. Every dollar helps this beautiful girl heal and get one step closer to her forever home.
Update 10/22/25
Charity is doing so much better! She’s gained weight, has a great appetite, and absolutely loves attention from our volunteers. Her wounds have healed, and her gentle personality is starting to shine through. After everything she’s endured, it’s amazing to see her growing stronger and more trusting every day.
Update 11/7/25
Sweet Charity continues to make progress! She still needs to put on a bit more weight, but her appetite is fantastic — she absolutely loves to eat and never turns down a meal. Recently, she came down with an upper respiratory infection, but she’s responding well to her medication and getting lots of extra TLC from our volunteers.
Through it all, Charity’s gentle spirit continues to shine. She adores snuggling, soaking up affection, and being the center of attention whenever someone stops by to visit her. After everything she’s been through, she’s blossoming into the loving, affectionate cat she was always meant to be.
Thank you to everyone who’s helped Charity get this far — your support is making all the difference for this resilient little survivor.
