I am starting this campaign on behalf of the Connolly family as a close friend and fellow dog lover. My dog Molli Dane met her best fur friend and love of her life Charlie Connolly over 4 years ago when they were just puppies. They have remained close, as they see each other several times a week and have play dates in their yards.

Recently, Charlie has been diagnosed with a form of eye cancer – Uveal Melanoma. Sadly, Charlie’s eye cannot be saved and needs to be removed by a specialist. This surgery along with medication will cost between $4,000-$5,000. As long as the cancer remains localized and has not spread, Charlie is healthy enough to undergo the procedure. Not only is Charlie an amazingly sweet and well-behaved family pet, but he is also an essential part of this family’s health. He deserves this chance to heal and live a long life. Molli wants many more years with her puppyhood friend.
