Charlie is a 1.5 year old Bearded Dragon in Bountiful , UT, who needs $2,500 for Limb Amputation.

This is My Boy Charlie. He currently lives in a 150 gallon tank fully equipped with linear UVB lights and everything a bearded dragon needs to thrive.

Charlie spent the first 6 months of his life at a big box pet store in a 5 gallon tank.Because he spent such a long time with sub par care he has suffered health complications. When I bought him he had parasites that the vets at Mountain West Vet Clinic treated and his calcium levels were low. Now he has inflammation of the arm which they are concerned is becoming necrotic and may need removal.

Charlie is the sweetest bearded dragon I have ever met. He loves snuggles and watching T.V with the family. My daughter who has ASD is often found in front of Charlie’s tank talking to him. He is a great listener! I am an RBT and work with kids with behavioral issues and Charlie is always there for me on the tough days! He is always ready to cuddle, listen and sooth anyone he contacts!

I am a single mom with three kids two which have special needs. I have exhausted my savings trying to care for Charlie. He is my world and I don’t want to surrender him but I am running out of options.
