About this campaign

Charlie showed up at my parents farm during Covid with no collar or microchip. Shelters were full and owners were not found so my parents have been taking care of him and trying to rehome him for the past 5 years. He is currently an outdoor dog but we believe he may be house broken.

Charlie has been kept current on his vaccines through Bunchgrass Veterinary in Colfax. He is not neutered and has entropion in both eyes. The vet believes he may be around 8 years old so he will need to start having bloodwork done annually. He will be having his bloodwork and surgery done at Colton Veterinary Service where I work.

Charlie is very sweet, leash trained, great with kids and other dogs. Due to his impaired vision from the entropion he is the more submissive around the other dogs. Unfortunately he is not a farm dog and has been attacking chickens, pigs, and sheep. Due to this the shelter will no longer take him as a surrender because he is now considered "dangerous".

My parents health and medical bills have prevented them from getting Charlie the surgeries he needs so that someone will adopt him. I am taking over as foster but I am a college student and I have a geriatric dog of my own with liver disease so my finances are limited.
