About this campaign

Charlie is the sweetest, most loving, happiest little pup. He was rehomed from breeder due to a leg injury. He lives with his mom and his Frenchie sister. He loves watching squirrels, making people smile, cuddling, playing, and being a mischievous puppy (although he tries so hard to be good). He's still learning about life and has more to explore.

Charlie loves everyone he meets- people, dogs, vets. He is very calm and didn't even react when the vet had to do an anal probe on him. His eyes get big and he has a waddle-like run when he sees someone he wants to say hi to and share his love with- it is quite adorable. He lets his sister have every toy she wants and just picks something else to play with.

He is a lover. He tries really hard to be good, but sometimes the puppy naughties take over. He likes to play with shoes when he can get his paws on them, likes to chew the corners of boxes if his mom received a package or needs to mail something, and really likes putting strings and zippers from people's clothing in his mouth. He also loves watching squirrels climb in trees.

Charlie became sick over New Years Weekend and was diagnosed with an aggressive leukemia/lymphoma. His prognosis is days without treatment, 1-3 months with chemotherapy, which we are doing. His only chance at life is a bone marrow transplant. His remaining treatment exceeds the annual limit on his pet insurance and the amount his mom can afford.

I have pet insurance on Charlie and savings, but the cost of a bone marrow transplant is 50-70K and exceeds what I can afford. It is his only chance at a life and he will die without it, within months. I know the cap here is 2K, but every single cent helps.
